Brossard, Qu\u00e9bec, October 16, 2023 \u2013<\/strong> CHARBONE HYDROGEN CORPORATION (TSXV: CH, OTCQB: CHHYF, FWB:K47) (\u201cCharbone<\/strong>\u201d) is pleased to announce that it has executed a \u201cDesign and Build\u201d construction agreement (the \u201cAgreement<\/strong>\u201d) with one of the largest construction company in Quebec, EBC Inc., dated as of October 13, 2023, that will facilitate financing of the project. The Agreement has been executed between its wholly owned subsidiary, Charbone Hydrogen Quebec Inc. (\u201cCharbone QC<\/strong>\u201d), and EBC Inc. (\u201cEBC<\/strong>\u201d). Securing this new Agreement is paramount to the final item included in Charbone\u2019s Qu\u00e9bec construction plans for its first green hydrogen Phase I facility in Sorel-Tracy (Qu\u00e9bec, Canada). Local subcontractors will be involved with EBC to complete these projects in the near future, as all major components and equipment for the facility are ready for delivery to the site.<\/p>\n

The executed Agreement between the parties will provide Charbone with a strong and experienced contracting partner for its coast to coast \u2018design and build\u2019 facilities in Canada and potentially in the United States. Charbone has granted EBC the right of first refusal to construct additional Sorel-Tracy phases as well as one or all Charbone\u2019s facilities within the North American market.<\/p>\n

It establishes a robust and steadfast partnership, not only for this project but also for all 14 other projects in our pipeline\u201d said Dave B.
