CHARBONE Reaches Major Milestone with Delivery of its Electrolyzer to the Sorel-Tracy Site

The arrival of this strategic equipment marks a decisive step in the completion of Phase 1B and the deployment of increased clean Ultra-High-Purity hydrogen production capacity.

Varennes, Quebec, August 18, 2026 – CHARBONE CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47) (“CHARBONE” or the “Company”), a vertically integrated industrial gases company focused on production, distribution and storage of clean ultra-high purity (“UHP”) hydrogen and other strategic industrial gases, is pleased to announce the delivery of its electrolyzer to its flagship site in Sorel-Tracy, Québec.

The arrival of this essential equipment represents one of the most significant milestones achieved to date as part of Phase 1B of the project. It confirms tangible progress in CHARBONE’s development plan to increase its clean UHP hydrogen production capacity and meet growing demand from its industrial customers.

A Decisive Step Toward Increased Production Capacity

Designed to produce hydrogen through water electrolysis, the electrolyzer is the technological core of the next phase of production at the Sorel-Tracy site. Its delivery now enables CHARBONE’s teams, construction contractors and technical partners to begin the next steps involving its positioning, installation and integration into the Sorel-Tracy site infrastructure.

Civil engineering work and foundation preparation have been planned to accommodate the main production equipment. Activities will proceed in accordance with the Company’s execution schedule, including component assembly, mechanical and electrical connections, testing and commissioning.

This development is part of CHARBONE’s modular and phased strategy, which enables the Company to add production capacity in line with demand while maintaining a disciplined approach to its development.

Momentum Public Relations Inc. Appointment

CHARBONE has retained the services of Momentum Public Relations Inc. (“Momentum”) for services related to its investor and media relations strategies. These services will be primarily provided by Mr. Maxence Gagné-Godbout, who acts at arm’s length from the Company. Under the agreement, Momentum will receive fees of $10,000 per month. The six-month agreement is valid until May 15, 2026. No other compensation is payable under this engagement. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval.
