Driver (Class 1)

Your Role

As a Class 1 driver, you will be a vital link in our logistics chain. You will operate new, specialized, and meticulously maintained vehicles, ensuring the safe delivery of compressed gases (hydrogen and helium) to our industrial clients and strategic partners in Canada and the United States.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Transport hydrogen and helium, both short and long haul, in compliance with safety and hazardous materials transportation standards (HAZMAT)
  • Ensure reliable, safe, and on-time deliveries to customer sites
  • Perform pre-trip inspections, preventative vehicle maintenance, and generate required safety reports
  • Complete all documentation: delivery reports, waybills, electronic logbook (ELD), and technical datasheets

Job Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 4 years of experience, including driving experience in the United States.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with gas or liquid tankers.
  • High school diploma (DES) or vocational diploma (DEP) in truck transportation (an asset).
  • Sense of responsibility and strict adherence to safety regulations. (Our trucks and trailers are monitored by an AI-based geolocation tracking system.)
  • Legal authorization to travel to the United States (DOT-compliant tests required).
  • Clean driving record (must be available upon request).
  • Knowledge of TDG regulations (a significant asset).
  • Valid EXPRES/FAST card for border crossings.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) is mandatory.
  • Customer service and respect must be among your core values.
